I have been a resident of Cape Town since 1979. I did my apprenticeship working for Kynoch Fertilizers where I qualified as an Electrician in 1983. I worked for Kynoch for 19 years before joining Everite/ AC pipes where I worked for a year before the company closed its doors and I was retrenched. I then worked at Nampak Liquid Packaging for 3 years before joining SAB where I worked for 17 years before I was retrenched/ early retirement due to covid policies. I have worked and trained on MV installations all my working life and I am an authorized person to do MV switching up to 44KV. I have also spent virtually my entire career in an industrial/manufacturing environment which required a comprehensive knowledge of automation systems

Cape Town has always been my homeland since I was born on 26 March of 1985. I studied Electrical Engineering at Wingfield Technical College and worked part time at 2 electrical companies.
I started full time at AC Agrella as an electrical assistant and soon moved to Techno Bugs. I did a lot of freelance work in the electrical industry under my father’s business where I met Miguel. With him I started my second learnership with AMJ (Schneider Electrical Service Provider) where I qualified as an Installation electrician, switchgear technician and drive technician within 5 years in 2009.
After working for AMJ for an amazing 6 years my life path took me to be a plant manager for 4 cold storage plants and government projects.
After 3 years of work and getting to know operation and understanding of a business with training I received under the employment of RIC, I found myself back at AMJ.
For the second time at AMJ I realized that my dream and focuses now turned to myself and my family and that my next step in life would be owning my own business. With 3 years of hard work and learning more about sales and products it soon went from an idea to a birth of my new adventure.
Finding myself and a long-time work colleague in a strange but pleasant friendship, we came to agree on going into partnership by starting our business as a team and so MJ Total Power Solutions. In 2020 I decided to sell my shares to MJ Total Power Solutions and start a new adventure at Industrial Switchgear Solutions.

I was born on August 1st 1985 and have stayed in Cape Town ever since. I matriculated in 2003 and studied for my NQF Diploma at West Coast Collage Atlantis in 2014 and completed in 2018. I worked at Wonderland Educare as a GR teacher from 2008 to 2019.
I decided to take a year off in 2020 to spend time with my kids of which Covid struck. In that year André and myself decided to start the business of which I was the founder.
I am the Director/Admin Director of Industrial Swithgear Solutions taking care of all the daily paperwork and finances.
